CTI goes to Chinatown!

Ang mos go to Chinatown. A food tour at Chinatown was organised for CTI to experience authentic local food!Poly students kindly brought them around to try out the different food in that area! They tried char kuay teow, tutu kueh, desserts... and many others! It pretty funny when we tried to explain what the food is, cos though we ate them since we were young, yet we found it tough to explain... haha!

We went to East coast this week. The weather's been unpredictable, we prayed that it won't rain and it really didn't! We met some NYP students for BBQ there but we reached early. So, we played volleyball.

The darker photos you see below are actually Eliot's game of snatching clothes pegs off each other. hmm...I'm pretty amazed cos we can hardly see the pegs! haha! anyway most of the time its cti that lost the pegs 1st... is that how Singaporeans welcome our guests? haha! well...

I'm sorry that the photos for their performance didn't turn out too well... we just have to imagine more! 1 of the photos shows Tim clinging onto the lamp post horizontally... thats really tough!

Tips on bbq-ing your mashmallows:
Eat it when it turns BLACK! "Not brown?" I inquired innocently. "Black. Caramalized." replied Jessie firmly.

Best way to eat your mashmallow:
Heat up your skewer and poke through your mashmallow. Allow it to melt from the inside. then bite and pull the mashmallow from the stick.

CTI goes Vivo

Here's part 2 of CTI goes shopping at Vivo. There is a waterfall (that's how Jessie calls it) at vivo, it is actually a piece of glass with water streaming down on one side of it. We actually spent quite some time there cos they kept taking photos! haha!! Does anyone know if there is a proper name for the waterfall? leave a comment!

CTI met up with some ITE students for a time for games and fun. Turns out they're not too bad at our games. well... not all of them... haha! I'll post Shawn's banana dance soon! he sure can dance! maybe he should not stay at the sound board that much now we've seen his hidden talent... Brad's pretty sporting by spelling his name with his butt... heh...

I snooped around and discovered a little secret... Any quick guess on who has the "holey" sock...

CTI's 1st lunch in Singapore

CTI's 1st lunch in Singapore! Canadian pizzas! haha! Though the team commented that the taste's not too bad but they saw weird toppings (we had lettuce on the pizza) which they never seen it in the states... Nonetheless, they finished their food.

Michelle, the Canadian eating "Canadian pizza", said that they do actually taste like pizza back home in Canada! well... i doubt you knew that huh!

cti goes shopping!

CTI wanted to go Sentosa on sunday.... BUT ahhhh! it rained! and we all ready to soak in the sun... so we went shopping instead... i think they really love to write, most of them bought notebooks! except Brad, he bought a merlion magnet... they r tourists afterall :)

CTI will be having a LIVE! concert on 19 and 20 Oct.

They will be performing tunes from Switchfoot, Good charlotte, The Fray, Kelly Clarkson and more!

Have dinner with the band-the American style! Chefs from Botak Jones will cook and serve you at your table! And to top it up, the original root beer float!

CTI's 1st rehearsal

snippets of their 1st rehearsal in Singapore. though they suffered from jetlag and from the hot sun, they sound really really good! we were clapping and cheering (in the background of cos) :)

The long-awaited October CTI team has finally arrived in Changi Airport on October 3 at 1145pm! Actually we wanted to welcome them with something singaporeanish (which explains the garland) but eliot (the 2nd guy) said he felt like he's in Hawaii?! oh well they seemed delighted with the little surprise :)

CTI performance in US

CTI toured in US before coming to Singapore! They travelled to quite a few places, mainly in 3 states: Illinois, Wisconsin and Minnesota.
